APEQ™ Hardware Tool
The CONEQ™ measurement technology is applied to make a precise measurement of how loud the loudspeaker reproduces tones of each frequency and to produce a respective correction filter. The CONEQ™ filter application technology is any of the software or hardware equalization tools supporting CONEQ™ in order to apply the generated correction filters.
The CONEQ™ correction filters created with CONEQ™ Starter or CONEQ™ Workshop can be applied to the audio signal using hardware or software means.
Numerous applications (e.g. recording studios, fixed sound installations, post production facilities, and commercial sound applications) can take advantage of applying CONEQ™ correction filters using a stand-alone hardware unit. For these situations we offer a 1U rack-mount professional-grade two-channel balanced I/O Acoustic Power Frequency Response Equalizer – APEQ. The table below shows the feature comparison of the various APEQ™ versions.
