Analog Video Capture
With VFPro 2.0, multiple hours of video can be stored for review, image creation, sharing and archiving. Once digitized, your source videotape can also be stored, safe from further degradation and harm. VFPro 2.0 fully supports a wide range of award winning, professional quality Blackmagic video input cards. For users of analog video, these cards offer the highest quality, full frame rate uncompressed digital video capture available. We support SDI, S-Video, DV, composite or component inputs — PAL and NTSC. We also support video capture through a 1394/Firewire port.
Digital Video Import
Users can import a wide range of file types with VFPro 2.0 Video File Import. And more easily work with DVR video files – including formats like .AVI .MOV .WMF and .ASF, streaming video formats and cell phone movies such as 3G Mobile among many others.
Import Transcoding
VFPro 2.0 seamlessly incorporates the features of a file conversion utility within the import dialog. The transcode option converts streaming video, such as may be found in some Windows Media or AVI files, to a non-streaming format on import, ensuring optimal interactivity with your video frames.
Digital Video Screen Capture
For greater ease of use, through seamless integration into the application, VFPro 2.0 users can easily capture video data directly from proprietary DVR movies as they play on screen. The movie is captured and stored in an uncompressed, easy to work with, format. Problems that plague other screen capture programs encounter – such as dealing with proprietary movies that result in "black screen" captures in other programs and renegade DVR players that take over the entire screen – are solved.
Demultiplexing
There is no better solution for demultiplexing in the market today than VFPro 2.0. Our system was designed from the user perspective, with a deep understandings of the limitations other systems faced. Law Enforcement struggled with multiplexed video – noisy, jumpy, panning cameras etc. VFPro 2.0 was developed using sophisticated image processing algorithms served up in a smart user interface to enable it to separate an unlimited number of cameras from multiplexed video in a snap. The system requires no specialized hardware or input from the user – and works when (and where, as a mobile unit) you need it – and fast.
Improved Image Quality
Super resolution, deinterlacing and smart scaling allow VFPro 2.0 to create images with more detail and resolution, less noise and fewer artifacts. The results are significantly clearer and more complete than the majority of systems available, which use simple frame averaging techniques.

Digitial Video Conversion and Export
VFPro 2.0 exports digital movie files to a variety of file formats and compression types. Users can easily author DVDs of the movie data and share data with other users. Create .MOV and.AVI files with movie data stored in a wide variety of codec types including Uncompressed, DV, MPEG and MJPEG. And make corrections for square/ non-square pixels.
